Free SAT, ACT prep courses available online to Hawaii students

All high school students in Hawaii now have access to free online SAT and ACT prep courses through a partnership with the National Military Impacted Schools Association.

Hawaii is the only state where all children — whether in public, private or home school — have access to the prep courses because of its single statewide school district.

Similar courses run upwards of $300.

“During these tough economic times, this free 24/7 online college test preparatory course is a plus for families that are financially challenged and beneficial for self-starters and students with hectic schedules,” said Ronn Nozoe, deputy superintendent for the Department of Education.

To access the test preparation course, in addition to resources for students in grades 3-12, go to educationinhawaii.com.
