Man arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, sex assault
Police arrested a man in the Ward Avenue area about 6 a.m. today after a woman reported being held against her will, punched and sexually assaulted.
The man, 37, is being held pending charges of kidnapping, first-degree sex assault and third-degree assault.
The man and the victim, 39, may have been in a previous romantic relationship, police said.
