Police seek two men in Hilo condo burglary

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help to find two men captured on surveillance video during a Hilo burglary on Dec. 15.

Burglars took electronic equipment and cash during the burglary at Lagoon Center in Hilo, police said.

A security camera captured images of two men entering the condominium and leaving in what appears to be a gray compact sedan with a light colored hood.

One man is 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, in his early to mid-20s, and has a slim to medium build. He has light colored short hair.

Another man is about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, about the same age, with a slim to medium build. He has dark colored short hair.

Police ask that anyone who may know the identities of either man to call Detective Paul Fukuda at (808) 961-2381.

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers in Hilo at 961-8300 or in Kona at 329-8181.
