Due to the earthquake in Japan and the local tsunami warning, several flights to Japan and the mainland have been canceled.

Thirteen incoming flights from Japan were canceled this morning, said state transportation spokesman Dan Meisenzahl. There were 17 canceled departures out of Honolulu International Airport, 14 to Japan and one to Los Angeles.

In additional, four Hawaiian Airlines flights to the Kahului, Kona, Hilo and Lihue are delayed because although the airports are open, the roads surrounding the airports are closed, Meisenzahl said.

There are no reports of debris on state roads and highways, Meisenzahl said.
