Hawaii junior second baseman Kolten Wong was named the Western Athletic Conference hitter of the week today.

Wong hit two home runs, including a walk-off in the 10th inning of a 6-5 win over Portland on Sunday to give the Rainbows a series split.

Wong finished the week 11-for-22 with two doubles, two homers and six RBIs.

Wong upped his season average to .368 and leads the team with 25 hits and nine runs scored.

Hawaii (7-9) continues a 27-game homestand with a four-game series against Centenary (2-5) that begins on Friday.
