Rainbows blank Centenary 5-0

Jesse Moore finished a home run shy of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs to lead Hawaii to a 5-0 victory over Centenary this afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium.

Breland Almadova doubled and drove in two runs and Kolten Wong had two hits for the Rainbows (10-9), who moved over .500 for the first time since the opening week of the season.

Zach Gallagher (3-0) allowed two hits over six innings, walking none and striking out three in just 72 pitches.

Laetten Galbraith (0-2) took the loss for the Gents (3-9), allowing six hits and two runs in three innings.

The Rainbows, who have won four in a row, will go for the sweep on Monday at 6:35 p.m.
