Hilo Hattie donates $10,000 for Japan relief

Hilo Hattie presented $10,000 to the American Red Cross for relief efforts Wednesday during the KHON2 “Kokua for Japan” telethon. The company’s donation included $7,300 collected from customers around the state. 

Hilo Hattie is also selling T-shirts in two designs. The shirts cost $9.99 plus tax and will be available at all eight Hilo Hattie and Island Edge Hawaii stores. T-shirts will also be available for purchase at Hilo­Hattie.com by the end of March.
