Kaneohe Bay Drive will be closed from Aumoku to Puohala streets Friday morning for a Castle High School mock car crash event to warn students about the dangers of unsafe driving.

The closure runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Traffic will be rerouted.

The purpose of the event, called "If I could Go Back," is designed to warn students about the dangers of drinking and driving, texting and driving, not wearing a seatbelt and riding in the back of a pickup truck.

Castle High juniors and seniors will be participating in the event.
