Services set for missing bodysurfer

 A celebration of life ceremony will be held Saturday for Lance Wai­oke­ola Kao­­wili, 47, of Hau­ula, who was last seen on March 24 at Sandy Beach on Oahu.

Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. with services to follow at 5 p.m. at the Bernice Pau­ahi Bishop Memo­rial Chapel at Kame­ha­meha Schools. Aloha attire.

Kaowili, a Kamehameha Schools alumnus born June 21, 1963, was an active bodysurfer and worked as a carpenter, roofer and newspaper deliveryman.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Casey; sons Keenan and Kai; daughters Keli-Grace and Kina; mother Lynette Taka­yesu; brothers Ocean and Lawrence; sisters Laureen Stanfield and Lorna Kome­tani; and five grandchildren.
