Crews recover body near where professor disappeared

Honolulu fire rescue crews this afternoon recovered a body believed to be that of missing professor Are Hjorungnes.

Hjorungnes, a visiting engineering professor from Norway, was last seen a week ago on a mountain trail run in the hills above Mokuleia with members of an Oahu running club.

The body was turned over to the Honolulu Medical Examiner.
