UH and Auckland college set up exchange program
The University of Hawaii at Manoa and Auckland University of Technology have agreed to a student and staff exchange program as well as to work together on research.
Exchange programs enable Manoa undergraduate and graduate students to study overseas while allowing students from overseas partner universities to study at the Manoa campus. Students may study abroad for one or two semesters.
Hawaii scholars are also expected to benefit from unique research opportunities offered by Auckland University of Technology’s work in indigenous studies.
UH-Manoa Chancellor Virginia Hinshaw said the relationship would be highly valuable in enhancing the school’s global perspective and connections.
The university publicly announced the agreement on Tuesday, but representatives from the two schools signed it last week.
