Reception kicks off Korean Film Festival
Cinema Seoul Power: Korean Film Festival starts Saturday at the Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Academy of Arts.
The 6 p.m. opening night reception will include Korean food offerings followed by the film "Blades of Blood" at 7:30 p.m. Other titles on the lineup have already screened at the Hawaii International Film Festival.
They include "Housemaid," "Finding Mr. Destiny" and "Secret Sunshine."

Episodes 9 and 10
Today, 6:45 p.m.: Eun-soo rides alone with Hyun-woo to the company picnic. They spend a lot of time together, and Hyun-woo realizes that his negative opinion on Eun-soo was wrong. Eun-soo gets drunk at the party and falls asleep. Hyun-woo sees her crying in her sleep and holds her hand.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Eun-soo gets locked up on the rooftop after everyone had left the office. Hyun-woo finds her and takes her to his office; he gives her a blanket and a cup of hot tea.
Soo-jin visits Hyun-woo and sees the two of them in his office. She gets jealous and rushes the engagement.

Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Dallae decides to go ahead with the wedding even though she finds out that Hyun-sae lied to her. This gives her the reins in their relationship.
Bomi sends her mother to jail by framing her for robbery.
Yeon-woo feels guilty about Shin-yong’s decision not to study abroad because of him.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: When Kang-so’s sister destroys their wedding, Min-joo remembers why she can’t marry Kang-so.
Mee-so’s mother finally contacts her. Seo-poong gets out of jail and finally makes up with Shin-yong’s parents.
Bok-hee has the chance to audition for a part in a movie. The whole family urges her to do it.
Kang-so fights for his relationship with Min-joo, but she’s done.

Episodes 15 and 16
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Yi-gyung surprises herself by answering Min-ho, but Gyung-bin shows up just in time and rescues her. Min-ho realizes Yi-gyung could be possessed by Ji-hyun’s spirit. Yi-gyung tells Gyung-bin about her relationship with Yi-soo as the scheduler looks on.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: The scheduler remembers his past life and his relationship with Yi-gyung and his death. He’s confused at the memory. Min-ho finds out Ji-hyun’s spirit has taken possession of Yi-gyung’s body and tries to make Yi-gyung leave the country.

Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Damo sees his father coming into Bu Yong Gak and hides.
Ra-ra tells Grandma to stop being mean to Soon-deok. Mr. Ma, the owner of a film company, insults Sa-ran by throwing wine in her face. But Sa-ran stands her ground and throws water in his face.
Damo catches a cold and Sa-ran makes porridge for him. Damo’s mother finds out Damo is working at Bu Yong Gak.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Gang-san’s wife feels lonelier than ever when her son doesn’t return, and Ra-ra avoids her. She suggests having another baby to Gang-san.
Damo’s mother comes back to Bu Yong Gak and asks Hwa-ran how he came to work there, but Hwa-ran doesn’t tell her it’s because of Sa-ran.
Mr. Ma tells Hwa-ran Sa-ran would make a good actress, but Sa-ran’s not interested.
