Suspect sought in McCully taxi robbery
Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a taxi driver at knifepoint Sunday night.
Police say a 58-year-old man picked up a man in his 20s in his taxi and drove him to a parking lot in the McCully area where the suspect allegedly brandished a knife and held it to the victim’s neck while demanding money at about 6:20 p.m.
The suspect cut the victim’s hand and the cord of his hands-free cord on the victim’s cellular phone during the incident, police said.
He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
