Suspicious object prompts closure of highway in Maili
Police have closed a section of Farrington Highway in Maili while officers investigate a suspicious object on the highway.
Police closed Farrington Highway between Kaukama Road and Hookele Street about 12:45 p.m. Initial reports said the object has a steel pipe, but no further details were available.
Traffic is being rerouted.
