Crews working on broken water main near Ewa Beach Park

Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews are finishing repairs on the roadway this morning after a 12-inch main broke on Ewa Beach Road near Ewa Beach Park on Sunday.

Crews worked through the night and began restoring water service at 3 a.m. today. Repairs are continuing on the roadway.

The break was reported around 3 p.m. Sunday and affected about 100 houses, spokeswoman Tracy Burgo said. All service was restored at about 5 a.m., Burgo said.

Two water wagons were set up for residents without water Sunday night.
