Man arrested in Pearl City break-in
A 37-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he was discovered while allegedly breaking into a home in Pearl City.
Police said the man was still in the house when the homeowner confronted him about 8:10 a.m. The man ran off with items from the house, police said.
In a nearby neighborhood, an officer spotted the alleged burglar, who tried to run, and cornered him in a carport.
The officer arrested the man for investigation of burglary.
