Officials monitoring Nuupia Pond after 20,000 gallons of waste water spills
State Health officials are sampling water from Nuupia Pond today after 20,000 gallons of waste water poured into a storm drain.
The wastewater flowed from a force main located at the west entrance of the Kailua wastewater treatment facility and flowed into a marsh area near Nuupia Pond.
