Juvenile males arrested in sex assault probe at School for Deaf and Blind
Several juvenile males have been arrested in connection with an investigation into allegations of multiple cases of sex assault involving students at the Hawaii School for the Deaf and the Blind.
The investigation by the Honolulu Police Department’s Sex Assault Detail involves multiple juvenile suspects and victims, said HPD spokeswoman Michelle Yu.
“Several juvenile males have been arrested” at various times going back several months, Yu said. It’s not clear if other arrests are expected, or if suspects include adults.
The school is part of the Hawaii Center for the Deaf and the Blind and operates under the auspices of the state Department of Education
