Suspect sought in fatal beating at Kalihi bus stop
Police are looking for a man with a possible left tattoo on his bicep as a supect in the fatal beating of a 64-year-old Honolulu man at a bus stop on North School Street on Aug. 5.
The beating death of John Abiley Jr. occurred at 6:40 p.m.
Police said the victim, John Abiley Jr., was sitting at a bus stop when a man approached him and began punching and kicking him several times to the face and body about 6:40 p.m.
The attacker fled on foot west on North School Street after others intervened, police said.
Police said it was unclear if Abiley and assailant knew each other.
Abiley was taken to a hospital, where he died on Aug. 11.

The suspect was described as 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with short brown hair. CrimeStoppers released today a sketch of the suspect.
He was wearing a black T-shirt, dark colored cargo shorts, and tennis shoes, police said.
