Man airlifted from Kauai trail after breaking leg
A 27 year-old man had to be airlifted to safety Wednesday after he broke his leg near Kauai’s Alakai Swamp trail.
Kauai police were notified at 5:08 p.m.
Kauai fired department’s helicopter picked up the man at 6:45 p.m. flew him to Waimea Canyon Park where paramedics transported him to Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
