A 37-year-old man was in serious condition Tuesday night after another man allegedly hit him with a vehicle during an argument in Kaneohe.

Witnesses reported a fight, someone getting out of a vehicle and someone being injured on Aumoku Street about 9:50 p.m., police said.

According to emergency dispatch reports, the 37-year-old man was in an argument with another man and when he got out of his vehicle, the other man drove at him, clipping his right leg. The assailant drove at the man again and hit him at 20 to 30 mph, sending the man up on the hood of the car and cracking the windshield, the reports said.

The assailant then got out of his vehicle and kicked and punched the man, who was on the ground.

Paramedics said the man had pain in his right shoulder, knee and shin.
