Mislabeled vegetable gyoza dumplings recalled, Hawaii health officials say
Hawaii health officials warn that certain packages of a brand of vegetable dumplings were mislabeled and may actually contain seafood.
The state Department of Health said Thursday those who eat Ajinomoto Brand Vegetable Gyoza Dumplings and have seafood allergies could be at risk. The mislabeled dumplings may contain shrimp and fish.
Portland, Ore.-based Ajinomoto Frozen Foods recalled the packages that were distributed between June 30 and Aug. 4 through stores and restaurants nationwide. The recall is for 8.47-ounce trays with lot code 231751.
No illnesses have been reported.
