A woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to use counterfeit money at a Kalihi gasoline station Monday afternoon.

Police said the woman attempted to purchase several items with a counterfeit bill at the service station about 5:15 p.m.

The woman, 40, of no local address, was arrested near the Kamehameha Highway-Middle Street intersection and being held pending a charge of first-degree forgery.
