Chanteal Satele put down 11 kills to lead No. 10 Hawaii to a 25-18, 25-23, 25-14 win over No. 22 Ohio State in the Hawaii Airlines Classic tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Emily Hartong had nine kills with one error as the Rainbow Wahine improved to 4-0. The Buckeyes got 12 kills from Emily Danks in falling to 4-1.
Hawaii plays No. 23 Long Beach State (2-2) in Friday’s second match. Earlier onight, the 49ers fell to No. 12 UCLA 25-19, 27-25, 21-25, 25-18.
UCLA (4-0) and Ohio State meet in Friday’s first match at 5 p.m.
