A Waianae man arrested for drunk driving is facing additional charges after officers discovered the car he crashed was stolen in a robbery, police said.

Officers arrested the 54-year-old man for drunk driving, driving without a license and failure to submit to a blood alcohol test after the crash at about 6 p.m. Friday at Farrington Highway and Hookele Street.

While processing his arrest, officers found the damaged vehicle had been taken in a robbery and arrested him for investigation of robbery.
