Millionth customer buys Vegas buffet-lover’s pass
LAS VEGAS>> A Los Angeles man visiting Sin City with his wife over the Labor Day weekend is getting a prize for taking part in the Las Vegas tradition of buffets.
Caesars Entertainment announced Erwin James was the millionth person to buy a Buffet of Buffets pass. The pass gives guests access to seven Las Vegas buffets for a 24-hour period.
Erwin and his wife Dania visited Las Vegas for their ninth wedding anniversary. He purchased the buffet pass Saturday afternoon and found he hit a milestone for the program that started in May 2009.
The couple’s prize package included spa treatment, tickets to Las Vegas shows and gift certificates to restaurants.
James says his strategy for getting the most out of the buffet pass is starting with a late lunch.
