A player was injured during a girls’ high school volleyball game between Leilehua and Aiea high schools Wednesday evening.
An Emergency Medical Services supervisor said the girl was taken from Aiea High School in serious condition to a trauma center.
According to ambulance dispatch, the girl reportedly hit her head on the court while diving for the ball and was reported unconscious for five minutes.
No further details were available.
