Vandals caused nearly $7,000 worth of damage at Island Pacific Academy in Kapolei over the weekend damaging five windows and a glass door and painting the walls with graffiti.

Dan White, headmaster of the private kindergarten to high school complex, said vandals throw rocks at one of the school’s building just after 9 p.m. Saturday, cracking five windows and a door.

Beside’s tagging one of the school’s buildings, vandals also targeted Cole Academy, a preschool, located about 150 yards away and also a store in the area, White said.
