Top DLNR officials plan community meeting on Molokai

Officials from the Department of Land and Natural Resources are visiting Molokai this week to hear the community’s questions and concerns.

William Aila, the land board’s chairman, is due to attend Friday’s meeting along with his deputies Guy Kaulukukui and William Tam.

The listening session is scheduled to be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mitchell Pauole Community Center in Kaunakakai.

The department has already held similar sessions in Kahului and Lahaina on Maui and in Lihue and Kilauea on Kauai. It plans to hold the meetings statewide.
