Firefighters put out brush fire near Diamond Head Lighthouse
About three acres of brush burned near the Diamond Head Lighthouse on Saturday afternoon, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to the call on the Koko Head side of the lighthouse below Diamond Head Road about 1:21 p.m., said Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Rick Karasaki.
The fire was declared extinguished abou 2:57 p.m., he said. Three fire trucks responded to the fire.
