A Kahului woman was killed Sunday morning when two vehicles hit her on Honoapiilani Highway near Lahaina, Maui police said.

Police identified the victim as Failagi Vite Laloulu, 19.

Police said Laloulu was walking in the northbound lane of the highway when she was hit by a northbound pickup truck about 4:22 a.m. near Launiupoko Park.

The impact threw Laloulu into the southbound lane, where she was hit by an unidentified vehicle. The pickup truck’s driver stopped, but the second vehicle did not, police said.

Police ask that anyone with information on this incident to call the Traffic Division at 270-6537.
