The city will not issue camping permits or hold the People’s Open Market on certain days in early November because of increased security at the Honolulu Civic Center during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced Wednesday.

Camping permits will not be issued at the Fasi Municipal Building and at satellite city halls on Nov. 10 and Nov. 14. The city will resume issuing camping permits on Nov. 15 at the Fasi Municipal Building and at the Kapolei and Wahiawa satellite city halls.

The People’s Open Market, on the Fasi Municipal Building parking deck, will be closed Nov. 7 and Nov. 14. The market will resume operations Nov. 21 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

For more information, call Ned Yonemori at 497-1346.

All city offices will be closed Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
