After losing by unanimous decision to Nick Diaz in the main event of UFC 137, Hilo’s B.J. Penn said this was his last mixed martial arts fight.
“You know what, I got a daughter, I got another daughter ron the way, I don’t want to go home looking like this,” Penn said. “I’m done.”
Diaz won by scores of 29-28, 29-27 and 29-28, badly busting up Penn’s face.
Diaz improved to 27-7 overall while Penn dropped to 16-8-2.
