Man arrested after allegedly firing a handgun in Wahiawa
Police arrested a 21-year-old man Tuesday after he allegedly fired a 9-mm handgun and threatened some people in Wahiawa.
The incident began about 10:45 a.m. when the victims confronted the gunman about a burglary Monday night.
During the argument, the two other people came and gave the 21-year-old man a 9-mm handgun to protect himself, police said.
The 21-year-old man allegedly fired the gun into the air and threatened four victims.
Officers arrested the 21-year-old for investigation of reckless endangering, a firearm offense, terroristic threatening, and detaining stolen property.
The two people who showed up were also arrested for various offenses, police said. No one was hurt.
