2nd case of arson investigated at Dillingham Savers
Honolulu police are investigating another apparent incident of arson at the Savers store on Dillingham Boulevard.
Honolulu Fire Department personnel were called to the store late Sunday afternoon after shoppers found clothing burning on a rack.
Bystanders were able to pull the clothes off the rack and stomp out the fire before the firefighters arrived, according to HFD spokesperson Capt. Terry Seelig.
No one was injured and no evacuation was necessary.
A similar incident occurred on Nov. 26 involving clothing set afire in the same store.
