A Nanakuli man and his wife got into a drunken car chase along the Waianae Coast on Saturday morning, ramming their vehicles into each other along the way, police said.

The man, 38, and woman, 31, got into an argument while drinking at about 2:45 a.m. and went home, police said. When they arrived at their Mokiawe Street home, the woman left in a pickup truck, upsetting her husband, who allegedly rammed her pickup with an SUV. This began a chase through Nanakuli streets and then westbound along Farrington Highway, police said.

Officers were able to find and stop both vehicles near Makaha Valley Road, at which time the woman began chasing her husband on foot, police said. Both reported being rammed multiple times by each other’s vehicles. No one was hurt.

Officers arrested the couple for first-degree criminal property damage.
