Police arrested a 46-year-old homeless man who allegedly assaulted a nurse at the Queen’s Medical Center Tuesday night.

Police said the suspect, without warning or provocation, assaulted a nurse who was tending to him at about 8:55 p.m.

Hospital security intervened and detained the man until officers arrived and arrested the man for investigation of second-degree assault.

The nurse, a 54-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and declined treatment at the scene.
