Man arrested for alleged knife threat in Chinatown
Police arrested a 58-year-old homeless man in Chinatown after he allegedly threatened two other men with a knife.
The men, ages 50 and 34, were waiting to receive their free meals at an area shelter when they were approached by the suspect at 7:34 p.m. Wednesday when an argument broke out between the suspect and the two men.
Police said the 58-year-old man then threatened the men with a knife before walking away. Officers located the suspect near Fort Street Mall and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
