Father of “Mob Wives” star faces new charges
NEW YORK >> The father of a star on the VH1 reality show "Mob Wives" is among a group of reputed mobsters facing racketeering charges in New York.
Anthony Graziano is accused of trying to collect a mob loan while still serving time in a prison halfway house.
He is the father of "Mob Wives" star Renee Graziano.
Federal prosecutors announced indictments Friday of a number of reputed gangland figures, including a leader in the Bonanno crime family and another man accused in a dispute involving restaurants and a stolen pizza recipe.
The Staten Island Advance reported that Renee Graziano was hospitalized Friday after news of the indictments broke.
Prosecutors built the case against her father with the help of her ex-husband, Hector Pagan, who recorded his conversations with the 71-year-old mobster.
