Two men were arrested today after they assaulted a 60-year-old man with a tree branch last month in Wahiawa, police said.

The victim got into an argument on Jan. 18 with the two homeless men, ages 46 and 51, who then punched the victim in the face and hit him with the branch, police said.

Officers located both men about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Wahiawa and booked them for investigation of assault. During the arrest, officers also found drugs on the 51-year-old man and arrested him for investigation of two drug offenses, police said.
