University of Hawaii sophomore Kanisha Bello scored a season-high 19 points and freshman Alissa Campanero added 16 to lead the Rainbow Wahine basketball team to a 72-68 win over Nevada tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Wahine (11-16, 6-6 Western Athletic Conference) trailed by seven in the second half before going on a 19-3 run and won on senior night for the fourth straight year.
Bello and Campanero hit three 3-pointers each and forward Kamilah Jackson scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Vicky Tagalicod added 10 points for UH.
Nevada’s Danika Sharp led all scorers with 20 points on 7-for-11 shooting for the Wolf Pack (5-22, 1-11).
