Hawaii island man arrested after three people were stabbed
A 43-year-old Kapoho man was arrested after three people were stabbed, two with serious injuries, Wednesday night in Kapoho, Hawaii island police said.
Officers responding to an 11:11 p.m. call to a home near the 7-mile marker on Route 132 found a 28-year-old man with a severe head wound and lacerations, a 25-year-old woman with a severe laceration to her upper bod, and a 45-year-old woman with a minor injury, police said. All are from Kapoho.
The 28-year-old and 25-year-old were taken to Hilo Medical Center, where they underwent surgery and were listed in serious condition.
