Teenager arrested, second suspect at large in April 6 Makiki robbery
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with a robbery last month at a Makiki store.
Police said the boy was with another person when they took items, put them in a bag and walked out of the store without paying on April 6.
A female security officer stopped the two and strugged with the second suspect, police said. The 17-year-old boy ran away, but returned and pushed the 28-year-old woman to the ground, allowing both suspects to get away, police said.
Officers found the 17-year-old boy at 2 p.m. Friday and arrested him for investigation of second-degree robbery. He was released pending investigation.
The second suspect remained at large.
