First Hawaiian Air flight from New York due
The inaugural Hawaiian Airlines flight from New York City to Honolulu, carrying 254 passengers, is due to arrive at 3 p.m. today.
Passengers will be welcomed at the gate with fresh flower lei, Hawaiian music and hula performances.
Hawaiian inaugurated service between Honolulu and New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport Monday afternoon. The flights will add more than 107,000 new air seats from the East Coast each year.
