A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a convenience store in Makiki Monday.

The 34-year-old man, of a Green Street address, was arrested at the Honolulu Police Department station this morning and is being held on suspicion of first-degree robbery and use of a firearm.

Police said a man entered Pensacola Mart at 1535 Pensacola Street about 2:30 p.m., pointed a gun at a cashier and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.
