Honolulu firefighters responded to a wildfire that burned approximately six acres of vacant land between Hawaii Self Storage and the Indoor Lumberyard in Kapolei on Saturday.

The fire, first reported at 4:21 p.m., came within 50 yards of the buildings but did not damage any property. However, smoke from the fire blew across the H-1 freeway.
