Hawaii singer Anuhea reads ‘news’ script on morning television show

Maui singer and songwriter Anuhea brought a touch of Hawaii to morning television on the mainland, appearing on the syndicated morning news show “Eye Opener” and reading a tongue-twisting “news” script.

Anuhea who is on tour on the mainland, performed on the show and read a script off a teleprompter.

The Hoku award-winning performer was the main anchorwoman at the campus television station when she was a boarding student at Kamehameha Schools.

“Eye Opener” is filmed in Dallas and is syndicated on Tribune television and some CW network stations.

It is not seen in Hawaii.
