Oahu wins big at Cal Ripken World Series

Matthew Inaba homered and drove in four runs to lead the Oahu Shockers to a 12-2 win over Longview (Wash.) at the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Md., on Tuesday.

Zachary Gushiken added three RBIs and Shea Yamaguchi scored three times for Oahu (2-1), which ends pool play on Wednesday against Little Rock (Ark.).

The top three teams from the American and National divisions advance to the seeded rounds on Thursday.

Ryne Oshiro allowed two runs on two hits in four innings to earn the win. Jarron Carter struck out three batters in the fifth to end the game.

Carter was also one of four Shockers to score at least two runs.
