Police seek suspect in Walgreens Keeaumoku robbery

August 20, 2012 Robbery Suspect WantedCrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the publicâ??sassistance in locating a male who is wanted for robbing the Walgreen Storelocated at 1488 Kapiolani Boulevard.On August 18, 2012, at approximately 1:35 p.m., a male entered the store,approached the pharmacy, asked for medication, and when asked for aprescription he brandished a handgun. The public’s help is being sought by police and CrimeStoppers in the search for a suspect in the armed robbery of the Keeaumoku branch of Walgreens on Saturday afternoon.

Police said the robbery occurred at the Walgreens on 1488 Kapiolani Boulevard about 1:35 p.m. when a man entered the store, approached the pharmacy, asked for medication, and then flashed a handgun when asked if he had a prescription.

The man fled on foot on Makaloa Street.

The suspect is described as between 30 and 40 years old, about 6-feet-1, weighing between 160 and 210 pounds, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue camouflage long pants, and a baseball camp.
