A Big Island man has been arrested for public sex for the second time in about a month — this time with a different partner.
Police say 35-year-old Dylan Trask Whelden and 45-year-old Yvette Butterfield were caught having sex on a soccer field extension near downtown Hilo early Saturday.
A police spokeswoman tells Hawaii Tribune-Herald (http://ow.ly/d8gEr ) there were people using the county park at the time.
They are charged with open lewdness and remained in custody at Hawaii Community Correctional Center today. Whelden’s bail was set at $1,000 and bail was set for Butterfield at $2,000.
Whelden was charged with the same crime last month after police say he and Margaret Manza were caught having sex on a public sidewalk in front of a Kona business building.
